This is my first time doing Top 5 Wednesday and I’m pretty sure I won’t be doing it every week. I’m participating this week because I love talking about upcoming releases, so humor me. Without further ado, let’s talk about books:
#5 All In by Jennifer Lynn Barnes
(The Naturals #3) — The third book in The Naturals series that focuses on my precious bby Sloane? Yes please. Murders in Las Vegas also remind me of the good old days of watching CSI on Fridays nights.
Release date: 3rd November, 2015
#4 Shadows of Self by Brandon Sanderson
(Mistborn #5) — I haven’t started this part of Mistborn yet but with books 5 and 6 coming out so close together (October and January respectively), I’ll probably just hoarde them and marathon them to be completely honest.
Release date: 6th October, 2015
#3 Ice Like Fire by Sara Raasch
(Snow Like Ashes #2) — I was one of those people who wasn’t completely sold on Snow Like Ashes. I felt it was a little boring and we all know how I feel about love triangles (rolls eyes), but the ending was so good that I have to give Ice Like Fire a go. Want to know a secret? (I have an arc, so I can find out right now ~hehe)
Release date: 13th October, 2015
#2 Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo
(The Dregs #1) — While I did have my moments of confusion and frustration while reading the Grisha trilogy, it was still a very solid and enjoyable series in a very interesting world. Take that world and throw in the dregs of society and I’m very much thinking Grisha-Mistborn. Grishaborn? Missha?
Release date: 29th September, 2015
#1 The Dinosaur Lords by Victor Milan
(The Dinosaur Lords #1) — Do I even need to justify this? Epic fantasy plus dinosaurs and a positive blurb from George R. R. Martin. Yeah, that’s what I thought. And did I mention DINOSAURS!?
Release date: 28th July, 2015
